Three-Car Accident Outside St. Louis Sends Two Teens to the Hospital

There are many accidents in the St. Louis area, and all too often they involve teenage drivers. According to a recent article on the Belleville News-Democrat website, one accident recently occurred near Belleville East High School.

The crash involved three vehicles. One of them was parked and empty. The other two were occupied by two teenagers in one car, and one individual in the other car. It was a head-on crash, which happened on West Boulevard. The one individual wasn’t injured severely, and didn’t go to the hospital. The teens did suffer non-life threatening injuries and were treated at a nearby hospital.

Investigators are still trying to determine why the accident occurred. School was just letting out, and at the time of the article they still didn’t know.

This accident could have been caused by any number of things. It’s possible that the teenage driver was texting and driving. It’s also possible that the other driver was reckless. Investigations into crashes like this one are important. Determining who is at fault will allow the victim(s) in this case to file a claim.
