Two People Die in Wrong-Way Car Crash in St. Louis County

It certainly pays to be vigilant when you’re driving on the roadways in St. Louis County. You never know when an accident might happen, where you could become a victim. A recent article on the CBS St. Louis website proves this point quite well.

Updates to the article indicate that a vehicle being driven by a thirty-five-year-old woman was traveling along Highway 100 when it crossed the center line and hit an oncoming SUV. The SUV was being driven by a seventy-two-year-old man, and he had four female passengers in the vehicle with him at the time of the accident.

The SUV driver died at the scene of the crash, while the other driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Three of the passengers in the SUV had minor injuries. Later on, the woman who caused the accident passed away.

Stories like this one are so tragic, and the article is not clear about what caused the accident to happen in the first place. The woman may have been distracted while she was driving, or it’s possible that she fell asleep at the wheel. Either way, the victims in this case should be compensated for their pain, suffering and losses.
