It Could Happen in St. Louis: Woman Bitten By Unleashed Dog

Unleashed dogs are always a hazard, regardless of what type of dog it is. According to an article from a news station in North Carolina, when one encounters unleashed dogs the outcome can sometimes become dangerous.

The article states that the incident occurred on the track at a local middle school, where the woman was walking early in the morning. A man was also there, with two dogs. One was an unidentified breed, while the other was a white pit bull. Neither dog was on a leash. The article does not indicate which of the dogs was responsible for the bite, but it does say that the owner did not take any responsibility at all.

The police officers who came to the scene reported that after the woman was bitten, the owner of the dogs ran behind a building at the middle school and called for his dogs to follow him. He fled the scene and at the time of the article he still had not been located. There is no indication as to how severe the bite was.
