Dog Bites Twins at a Daycare

As a parent, when you have to put your kids in a daycare facility so you can go to work, you’re always careful to choose a good provider that you can trust. You don’t expect anything bad to happen while you’re at work, and you trust the caregivers that your children are going to be safe. Unfortunately, according to a recent news article, two twins were mauled by a pitbull while they were in the care of their daycare provider.

Both of the children suffered from cuts, multiple lacerations, bleeding and skin separations as a result of the attack. To make matters worse, the daycare provider failed to take the children to the emergency room for immediate medical attention.

This particular dog was already considered to be a high risk animal because of the fact that he had bitten a seven-year-old child previously. Police officers indicated that after this incident, the dog might become labeled as a danger to the community. The daycare provider was arrested on two counts of child endangerment.
